Patches for Trial Copies3/24/2008 New version of HTML DocumentationWe have updated the manual, and for MeLS users who get the chm version of the manual, you can download the html version here. The chm version does not have all the color coding to make the manual easier to use. 3/3/2005 Patch for EZRTools users using Multi-Edit 9.10 and higherIf you using Multi-Edit 9.10 or greater for a trial copy(downloaded before 2/28/05) you will need this patch to fix a bug in the debug comment out - remove comment out tool. Un-zip the sas.mac file to your Mac directory under the Multi-Edit install directory. 8/4/2003 Highlighting of multi-line CommentsHighlighting for a /* (open-close) comment, that starts in column 1, not continue onto the next line. If you look in the language setup (Tools-Customize-Languages) you will see that end of line (EOL) comment number 3 is set up for /* starting in column one. This was placed there to alert mainframe SAS programmers that this type of line was in the code. If SAS code is placed in a JCL step and has /* in column one JES figures that the input (program) is finished and thus would not see the rest of the program. If you have no need for this type of functionality get the fix to this problem by clicking here. 5/21/2003 Updated ManualIf you using Multi-Edit 9.10 or greater for a trial copy(downloaded before 2/28/05) you will need this patch to fix a bug in the debug comment out - remove comment out tool. This update fixes a bug that sometimes occurs when you have downloaded source and log files created on a remote host. The patch allows the "hop to source" function to work better when the source file may contain JCL at the top. This function still only works with source code lines in the log file that also exist in the source code file. For example source located in files %included or autocalled macros would not be found. The zip file contains a readme file that will guide you in installing the patch. 5/21/2003 Updated ManualIf you purchased a copy of EZRTools before 5/20/2003 you should download this update. If you placed your cursor at the end of one of the lines contained within the comment, and pressed enter, the indent routine would go into a loop. The zip file contains a readme file that will guide you in installing the patch.
